Another coalition between DA, FF Plus on shaky ground in Western Cape

Another coalition agreement between the DA and FF Plus is on shaky ground – this time in Langeberg, the Western Cape.  On Wednesday afternoon, the DA said the coalition between it and the FF Plus had dissolved, after a dispute which the DA had lodged against the FF Plus over a refusal to support the coalition’s budget in the council in May. The DA’s provincial leader, Tertuis Simmers, said: “This constitutes a material breach of the coalition agreement, and contributed significantly to the breakdown of trust between the parties.”
