The Prince Albert Local Municipality is a Category B municipality located within the Central Karoo District in the Western Cape Province. It lies on the southern edge of the Great Karoo, a semi-desert region. It is the smallest of the three municipalities that make up the district, though it accounts for a quarter of its geographical area.The municipality provides services to Leeu Gamka, Prince Albert Road, Klaarstroom and Prince Albert, and is an area with diverse investment opportunities.
